Scotland
Glasgow and Edinburgh are the two most important cities of Scotland. There are a lot of trips to do in this country and in particular on the theme of Harry Potter.
In the capital there is a lot of things to do and it is actually the first city within the United Kingdom that I really like.
Kelvingrove Art & Gallery Museum
Next to the University of Glasgow, I recommand you to do both on the same day because they are out of the town.

It is one of the most important Scottish Museum. Located close to Kelvingrove Park, it contains a large variety of works from Renaissance to Surrealism. This museum attracts a lot of guests everyyear. In 2019, it registered more than 2 millions visitors.

The entrance is free and if you want to relax afterward, you can visit the Kelvingrove Park which is quite peacefull.
George Square
George Square is the heart of the city. All around the place you could see some statues and monuments.

All streets next to this spot are animated by night. So, if you want to take a drink and meet new people, this is your place.
University of Glasgow
You cannot miss it. The University of Glasgow is, without doubt, my favorite place of the city. The university is one of the biggest and one of the most renowned of the United Kingdom.

It welcomes about 25 000 students from more than 130 coutries. It ranks among the top 1% of university worldside. It has been marked by the presence of known teachers like Adam Smith or Albert Einstein.

There is also a museum inside of the school. It is free there is a lot of historical goods in it.
Glasgow Cathedral
One of the most beatiful cathedral I have ever seen. It is the holdest building of the entire city of Glasgow. The interior is really handsome.

Next to the cathedral, you can access to Glasgow Necropolis. It is a victorian cimetery located on a hill. From here, it offers a beautiful point of view on the whole city. So, if you want a good spot to watch the sunset, I recommand you this one.
Ashton Lane
Ashton Lane is a cute cobbled street. It is particulary wonderfull by night because of the lights hung above our heads.
Edinburgh Castle
Located on the top of a rock, the Castle dominates the city from its middle. Open to visitors, it could be nice for you to visit it.
Princes Street Gardens
A very colorfull and flowered park that I particulary like.
Holyrood park - Arthur's Seat
If you want totake a breath without going too far from the city, the Holyrood park is the best place.

When you climb to the top of its hills, you can have a panoramic view on the whole capital of Scotland.

I think it is one of my favorite place in the city.
New College - The University of Edinburgh
On your way to go to the castle, you would see the New College. It is a beautiful building that you have to see.
Calton Hill
A second place to have one of the best view of the city is Calton Hill. You can also see some monument on the top of the hills
Palace of Holyroodhouse
One of the most important places in Scotland. This palace is the home of the Queen and the Royal history of the country.
Dean Village
A little village, really peacefull and typicall of the country. From here, you can have access to a walk and go
